Adidas released the Juventus club’s new away jersey for the 2021-22 season today.As a spiritual representative of the club and its city’s continuous development, the design of the new jersey shows the electronic music scene in Turin and its influence on the city’s young generation.
Drawing on a youthful subculture and lifestyle, the new away kit combines a classic black tone with colourful decorative lines, incorporating the lights of club match days and festive nights into the fabric, while paying homage to Juventus’ iconic shirt colors.
The shoulders of the jersey are embellished with three-stripes in orange and pink, creating a faint shimmering effect, which is the first time Adidas has used this technology on a football jersey.
To celebrate the launch of the new kit, adidas has produced a film in collaboration with Juventus and Turin’s C2C Music Festival (formerly known as Club To Club), one of the world’s most important pop music events.With a script by Carlo Pastore and Lil C and a score by Koreless, the film focuses on some of the most exciting musical talents of the Italian and British music scene such as Gang Of Ducks, Koreless, Mana, Romy, Sara Berts and spime.im, while A commemorative event for the jersey will be announced in March 2022.
