Nike and the Polish Football Association (PZPN) jointly launched the new home and away jerseys of the Polish national team.
Poland’s 2020 collection digs deep into historical archives to draw inspiration from the team’s golden age.”When you look back at the history of Polish football, it’s a lot of inspiration,” said Scott Munson, vice president of football apparel at Nike.”Moving the White Eagles to the center is a way of digging into the precious legacy of Polish football.”
With the white eagle returning to the center of the jersey, the Poland 2020 kit takes people back to the late 1970s and early 1980s, when Poland twice finished third in the World Cup.
The Polish team’s new home jersey is presented in a white tone, with a retro lapel that matches two buttons, both of which are engraved with a white eagle pattern.The collar has bold red trim and sits just above the enlarged coat of arms.The Nike Swoosh is on the right side of the chest and the player’s number is on the left.In addition, there is a logo of the Polish national team in the collar of the jersey, expressing a sense of pride from the heart. When the collar is raised, the words “Polska ” will also be displayed.
