Adidas released the new second away jersey of the Real Madrid Club for the 2021-22 season, paying tribute to Madrid’s iconic attraction-the “Zero Kilometer” landmark in the city center, which is also the starting point for calculating the mileage of all roads in Spain.
The jersey is decorated with a compass pattern representing the “Zero Kilometer” landmark, distributed in a low-key design on the front and back of the body. In terms of color matching, the jersey adopts emerald green as a whole, inspired by the eye-catching jersey design of the 1990s.
The compass pattern symbolizes Madrid’s centrality in Spain, which is one of the reasons why it was chosen for the new second away jersey. The inside of the jersey is also decorated with the Spanish territory and the compass logo, so that players can still feel the close connection with their homeland during the away journey.
The jersey also uses a simplified monochrome team logo for the first time, making the overall design more complete.
