To celebrate the return of Argentine football fans to the stadium, Adidas and the River Plate Club jointly unveiled the team’s new away jersey for the 2021-22 season. The team put on the black and red jersey again after two years.
A random, bright red pattern flits across the black jersey, with the club crest and adidas branding proudly worn on the left and right sides of the chest, while red shorts and socks with black three stripes complete the look.
The launch was part of the “Vivir con Grandeza” campaign, which started with the launch of the home shirt in early May, echoing the club’s new slogan “Grandeza”.
River Plate will wear the new jersey for the first time on the road against Central Córdoba de Santiago del Estero in the 11th round of the Argentine Professional Soccer League this weekend.
